Montgomery Gentry - Here's To You (2018) - My Review [English Version]

Hey 😉
Today I would like to describe album "Here's To You" by Montgomery Gentry (country music duo). This is 9 and unfortunately their last record, because one of the founders Troy Gentry died in a helicopter crash. Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry combined their musical skills in 1999. I honestly admit that I became in their earlier achievements after hearing the single from this album "Better Me", which is just sung by a dead artist.
The album consists of 12 tracks:

1. Shotgun Wedding - at first I didn't like this song but after listening to the song several times, I came to the conclusion that it has  potential.

2. Better Me - 1 single from this album. Usually Eddie Montgomery sings songs, but Troy Gentry asked that he could sing it, so for the first time you can hear the artist as the lead singer. You can hear how emotionally the singer approaches this composition. When I heard this song for the first time,
 I was moved.
The words of the composition are so real and can apply to all of us. We are not perfect, but we try to be better than before.

3. Needing A Beer - I personally like this song very much. In a way, the composition appreciates people with different professions and that they try to help and live honestly. So in my opinion it is a very positive song.

4. What'cha Say We Don't - I like the music and the lyrics are catchy. Probably the majority sings Troy Gentry (I'm not sure). I admit that I played this song for several days.

5. Crazies Welcome - honestly I only like the music of this song.

6. Get Down South - in this song I like only the chorus sung by Troy and the sound of electric guitars

7. Drive On Home - it's a very good love song

8. Feet Back On The Ground - in my opinion, this song deserves recognition.  It's a bit sentimental and maybe even reflective. A man dreams of leaving his hometown, but after a while he misses him and his relatives

9. Drink Along Song - a song more made for fun, but it's good

10. King Of The World - very well composed music and I like such a guitar sound, Eddie's voice fits well in this song

11. That's The Thing About America - very nice song describing  the life in America and the values that they profess

12.All Hell Broke Loose - honestly this is the first song from this album that I like by Eddie Montgomery. A beautiful song you can still listen to it. It should be chosen for the 2 single from this albumI think that the whole album deserves 4 (the maximum "my" rating scale gives 5)
