" Songs For The Saints" - a new album of Kenny Chesney (My Review) [English Version]

I didn't write for a few weeks because I was on vacation 😎.

Today I decided to write about Kenny Chesney's new album "Songs For The Saints" which was released on 27th July 2018. It's the 17th record in his musical career. The artist dedicated this album to the victims of Hurricane Irma on the island of St. John and will donate the proceeds from the sale of the record to rebuild damaged homes.



The album consists of 11 songs:

1. Song For The Saints - I really like the intro of this song. You can hear a nice musical arrangement that matches with words.

2. Every Heart - the song isn't bad, but I didn't like it. Too much drums. I think that the singer should use a different, calmer arrangement.

3. Get Along - this is 1 single promoting this album. The song is very energetic which I really like.
I think it's great song for the party.

4. Pirate Song - the composition contains a cool intro. You can hear here the sound of guitars which
I really like.

5. Love For Love City - it's a duet with Ziggy Marley. I really like this song. The voices of the artists fit together perfectly. I think that the song is more like a reggae song than country.

6. Ends Of The Earth - I believe that it's one of the better tracks. An interesting musical arrangement was used here. I think it's a  love song.

7. Gulf Moon - I really like the simplicity of the musical arrangement that is used here, especially the sound of guitars. I believe that the composition deserves more attention.

8. Island Rain - I don't like the intro, but when I listened to the words, I understood that it's a beautiful song about life and it's worth paying more attention to it.

9. Trying To Reason With Hurricane Season - it's a duet with another artist Jimmy Buffett. Personally, I believe it's another great song from this album. I really like the calm musical arrangement and instruments used in this composition.

10. We're All Here - this is a energetic track. I like the sounds of instruments used here, but this isn't my favourite song.

11. Better Boat - this is a duet with the singer Mindy Smith. Personally, I believe it's a very beautiful composition. The voices of artists complement each other perfectly in the chorus.

In conclusion on this album I found some great songs, which I listen to all the time 😃. In some compositions musician should change musical arrangements, but it doesn't change the fact that this is a great album.
