"Honky Tonk Time Machine" - Comeback of George Strait (My Review) [English Version]
Hey 😉
8. Old Violin - this is a cover of a song recorded by Johnny Paycheck, who was an acclaimed Country musician.
Yesterday I had a little nervous day, but it ended very nice 😁. I'm happy because I was very good at the English exam and I thought it would be worse 😃.
Another reason why I think it's a cool day is that finally I can listen to the new album by George Strait, who released it yesterday (29/03/2019) 😀. For several weeks, the artist has been publishing individual songs, so I could get to know the album a bit. However, the effect is much better when you can listen to all the songs.

Honky Tonk Time Machine is the 30th studio album released by George, which consists of 13 songs:
1. Every Little Honky Tonk Bar - this is the 1st official single promoting this album. You can hear here music used in traditional Country, but you can see a bit of modern style. It is worth adding that the song was written at the end of the creation of the material for the album and was written by the artist and his son and their longtime friend.

2. Two More Wishes - I like the sound of the instruments at the beginning of the song. You can include this song in compositions about love. It is an energetic song.
3. Some Nights - I like the musical arrangement used here. I would count her to those songs that tell about lost love.
4. God And Country Music - I used to write a post about this composition. Personally, I think it is a beautiful song. It is worth noting that the artist's grandson sang in this song and that it was co-composed by Lori Mckenna, who wrote a great song "Humble And Kind" recorded by Tim McGraw.
5. Blue Water - a nice musical arrangement has been used here. The song is a bit different from the previous ones, because it does not apply to such serious topics as before.
6. Sometimes Love - another song that shows why the artist is considered a great singer. George Strait is able to empathize and even move and this is what you can find in this song. Definitely, it is a composition about lost love. Personally, I love it very much.
7. Código - is a very nice and funny song. Very nice music arrangement. The song was released earlier as an unofficial single.
8. Old Violin - this is a cover of a song recorded by Johnny Paycheck, who was an acclaimed Country musician.
9. Take Me Away - a very nice song intro. I like the energetic musical arrangement that is used here.
10. The Weight Of Badge - the track is dedicated to people who sacrifice their lives to protect others (policemen, soldiers, etc.). This is in my opinion another of the best compositions that you can hear on this album.
11. Honky Tonk Time Machine - a very energetic song that resembles Country songs from old times. I like her fast pace and the instruments that were used here.
12. What Goes Up - a wonderful composition that refers to the faith in God that the artist has. Beautiful musical arrangement and changing tempo of the song makes me listen to all the time.
13. Sing One With Willie - this is a duet with well-known and respected artist Willie Nelson. In this song, George Strait fulfills his dream and sings with the mentioned singer. You can notice here the respect of the artists to each other and also the fact that they approach it with humor. The music arrangement is great, typical of the Country genre from the old days.
It is not without a reason that George Strait is considered King of the Country, because in this album he shows that he has not changed his musical style since he started his musical career. Currently there is a trend that artists of this genre mix it with others, and here you can listen to the pure Country and I like it the most.
I rate it at 5/5
I encourage you to listen because it's really worth it 😃.
