"I Believe Most People Are Good" - Luke Bryan (My Review) [English Version]

Hey 😉
This week I have an English test and I'm afraid that I may not pass it. I like this language, but grammar is hard for me. I honestly understand it more when someone speaks to me in that language than I can speak in English. I hope I can pass this test 🙏

Today I decided to write about Luke Bryan's album "What Makes You Country" released on December 8, 2017. This is his 6th studio album. Honestly, I was expecting something better after this album. Although the title of the album refers to "Country", however, the songs on it more fit the pop genre than the aforementioned genre. I know that in these times I will not hear country music as it was originally or even in the 80's or 90's of the twentieth century. I think, however, that the artist has gone too far from this genre, although there are songs similar to the country genre on the album.

The album consists of 15 songs:

1. What Makes You Country - generally the song "tells" that everything can make us "country" but in my opinion the music does not fit the text. I like the sound of guitars, but here is too much. Arrangement should be a bit calmer.

2. Out Of Nowhere Girl - in my opinion this is one of the better songs on this album.
Although this is not a typical country, I like the song very much. Noteworthy is an interesting musical arrangement (in my opinion).

3. Light It Up - 1 single from this album. The artist refers to the fact that people now communicate using phones instead of talking face to face. The lyrics of the song are catchy and composed music matches this song.

4. People Are Good Bridge - 2 single from this album. Personally, I think it's the best song from all on the album. The song contains a very important message that there are more good people in the world and it's closest to the country genre.

5. Sunrise, Sunburnt, Sunset - an energetic song about holiday love. This is not my favorite composition from this album. For sure there were better songs that the artist could put on the album.

6. Bad Lovers - the only thing I like about this song is the sound of guitars and that's it.

7. Drinking Again - the song presents the Americans a bit that whatever happens in their lives is alcohol. This is not the best song on this album.
8. Land Of A Million Songs - one of the few great songs on this album. I like this song because it "tells" about the fact that it is not easy to be a musician and sometimes it does not immediately become famous. You can write a dozen songs, but not everyone will become a hit. I really like the musical arrangement.
9. Like You Say You Do - a song about unrequited love. I really like this song. I think that composed music perfectly fits the text.

10. Hooked On It - nice, energetic song. I like the sound of the instruments used in this song.
11. She's A Hot One - an interesting musical arrangement. The song is ideal for a party at the club. The words are very catchy. One of the better compositions.

12. Hungover In A Hotel Room - a song significantly different from the other songs on this album. The most energetic song of all. I like that the artist does not sing the entire song but only added a female voice before the chorus (I do not know who this singer is), thanks to which the composition is not monotonous.
13. Pick It Up - a musical song similar to the country genre. Luke chose this song for his sons. The song has an important message that parents are important role models for their children.

14. Driving This Thing - a nice musical arrangement. I like the guitar sound in this song.

15. Win Life - a composition similar to the country. Personally, I think that this is one of the better tracks from all on this album.

Luke Bryan from the beginning of his musical career "shows" that his songs are not typically related to the country genre. Listening to this disc I came to the conclusion that her title does not match the compositions on the album. I rate this album a 3.5 / 5

AP.
