"Texoma Shore" - album by Blake Shelton (My Review) [English Version]

Hey 😉

It's hard time at college because exams and sessions are approaching. There is a lot of learning that's why I didn't write for a few days. Soon there will be holidays so I will have much more time to write a blog 😀.

Today I want to share with my thoughts about Blake Shelton’s album “Texoma Shore” released on 3rd November 2017.

This is the eleventh album of this artist consisting of 11 songs:

1. I'll Name The Dogs - this is 1 single from this album. Personally, it reminds me of the song by this artist "Honey Bee" from the album "Red River Blue" (2011) so there is nothing new in it. The only thing I can say is that the words are catchy.

2. At The House - honestly this is not my favorite song from this album. The music arrangement did not impress me. The artist could choose a different song.

3. Beside You Baby - a song that can be included in love songs. A composition with a nice musical arrangement.

4. Why Me - I think it's one of the better songs on the album. You can hear the sound of guitars that I love. Another song about love. In my opinion, it deserves attention.

5. Money - the composition is not my favorite. But you can see the potential in it. Maybe if it was arranged differently I would like it more

6. Turnin 'Me On - in my opinion it is the best song on the album. I hope it will be chosen for the next single. The words are very catchy and the music is great. Everything fits together.

7. The Wave - another great song about the salutary influence of love. I really like the music composed.

8. Got The T-Shirt - I like the fact that a calm musical arrangement has been used here.
In general, the song in my opinion belongs to the better songs from the album.

9. Hangover Due - the song is not bad, but I personally didn’t like it.

10. When The Wine Wears Off - a gentle way of "talking" what happens when people in love drink some alcohol. Personally, I really like this song and its calm tone.

11. I Lived It - 2 single from this album. The artist took very good about recording this song, because it is another of the better songs you can hear on the album. This song is nostalgic, because the artist recalls his childhood and youth.

In conclusion of the album "Texoma Shore" there are some great compositions that mainly focus on the theme of love, which I really like. However, compared to the previous album of the artist "If I'm Honest" (2016) (I will write a post about it someday), I like this album less. Some songs should be recorded differently or not at all. I rate this album at 3.5 / 5
