20 Years Ago - Throwback To Albums Released in 1999 [English Version]

Hey 😉

In my last post I wrote about albums that were released a decade ago. Today I will write about CDs that appeared in 1999 😀. In the mentioned year, there were many interesting albums that I think deserve attention. Although 20 years have passed since their release, it's still nice to listen to them.

 1. George Strait - Always Never The Same - this is the artist's 19 album released on March 2, 1999. The album consists of 10 songs. The CD's promoting singles are "Meanwhile", "Write This Down" and "What Do You Say To That." I think it is worth paying attention to songs such as "I Look At You", "Always Never The Same" and "That's The Truth".

2. Kenny Chesney - Everywhere We Go - this is the 5th album of the singer released on 2nd March 1999. The album consists of 11 tracks. The singles of this CD are songs like "How Forever Feels", "You Had Me From Hello" (co-composed by Kenny Chesney), "She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy" and "What I Need To Do". My favorite songs from this album are: "Everywhere We Go" and "I Might Get Over You".

3. Montgomery Gentry - Tattoos & Scars - this is the debut album of Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry as the duo released on April 6, 1999. The album consists of 11 songs. CDs promoting songs are: "Hillbilly Shoes", "Lonely And Gone", "Daddy Will not Sell The Farm", "Self Made Man" and "All Night Long" (along with Charlie Daniels - known and respected Country musician in the USA ). I also recommend the compositions: "Trying to Survive", "Did not Your Mama Tell Ya" and "Trouble Is".

 4. Tim McGraw - A Place In The Sun - this is the artist's 5th CD released on May 4, 1999. The album consists of 14 songs. The promotion singles are: "Please Remember Me", "Something Like That", "My Best Friend", "Some Things Never Change", and "My Next Thirty Years". Personally, this is my favorite album from all released by Tim. Also worth listening to the songs: "Carry On", "The Trouble With Never" and "You Don't Love Me Anymore"

5. Kenny Rogers - She Rides Wild Horses - this is the artist's 23rd album released on May 11, 1999. The album consists of 10 tracks. The singles promoting the CD are: "The Greatest", "Slow Dance More" and "Buy Me A Rose" (you can hear the voices of Alison Krauss and Billy Dean - well-known musicians in the USA). I also recommend listening to such compositions as "Love Don't Live Here Anymore", "She Rides Wild Horses" and "Let It Be Me".
 6. Brad Paisley - Who Needs Pictures - this is the artist's debut album released on June 1, 1999. The album consists of 13 tracks. It is worth adding that Brad Paisley is a co-composer of 12 songs on this CD. The singles are compositions: "Who Needs Pictures", "He Didn't Have To Be", "Me Neither", "We Danced". This record shows how talented the artist is and provided him with career development.
 7. Martina McBride - Emotion - this is the artist's 6th CD released on September 14, 1999. The album consists of 12 songs. Promotional singles are: "I Love You", "Love's The Only House", "There You Are", "It's My Time". It's also worth listening to the songs: "Do What You Do", "Goodbye" and "Make Me Believe".
8. Brooks & Dunn - Tight Rope - this is the 6th album of the duet released on September 21, 1999. The album consists of 13 tracks. CD's promoting singles are: "Missing You" (cover of John Waite's  song from 1984), "Beer Thirty", "You'll Always Be Loved By Me". My favorite songs from this album are: "Temptation # 9", "Do not Look Back Now", "All Out Of Love", "The Trouble With Angels".
 9. Gary Allan - Smoke Rings In The Dark - this is the artist's 3rd album released on October 26, 1999. The album consists of 12 tracks. The promotion singles are: "Smoke Rings In The Dark", "Lovin 'You Against My Will", "Right Where I Need To Be". It's also worth listening to such compositions as: "Don't Tell Mama", "Bourbon Borderline", "Runaway", and "Learning To Live With Me".
10. Faith Hill - Breathe - this is the artist's 4th album released on 9 November 1999. The album consists of 13 tracks. CD's promoting singles are: "Breathe", "The Way You Love Me", "Let's Make Love" (a beautiful duet with Tim McGraw - privately her husband), "If My Heart Had Wings". I also recommend listening to such compositions as: "If I'm Not In Love", "If I Should Fall Behind", and "There Will Come A Day". Personally, I think this is the best Faith album of all. It is worth noting that the album received the status of 8x Platinum and thanks to it Faith won three Grammy Awards.

I hope you liked the list, which I presented 😀. I tried to choose some of the best albums from this period in my opinion. It was hard to choose only 10 albums because in the mentioned year there were many great and interesting CDs.
Ps. Wish me luck because tomorrow I am writing the last English exam this semester 😨.
