Time Flies - Top 10 Albums From 2009 (In My Opinion) [English Version]
Hey 😉
Time flies quickly. We have just celebrated the New Year, and it is already mid-January 😏. Today I read on the site http://theboot.com/ (American website about country music) about the best albums that were released in 2009 (you can read about it here: http://theboot.com/country-albums-released-in-2009/?utm_source=sailthru&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=newsletter_4003242).
In some cases, I agree with the author of this article. However, I think he should add a few other albums that I think deserve attention. So I decided to present you my favorite albums from 2009 😀.
1. Tim McGraw - Southern Voice - this is the artist's 10th studio album released on 20 October 2009. The album consists of 12 tracks. The singles of this album are the songs: "It's A Business Doing Pleasure With You" (written by Chad Kroeger - the leader of the Nickelback band), "Southern Voice" and "Still". Personally, I think it's one of Tim's best albums 😍. It is also worth paying attention to such compositions as: "You Had To Be There", "If I Died Today" or "Good Girls".
2. Billy Ray Cyrus - Back To Tennessee - 11 singer's album released on 7 April 2009, which consists of 12 songs. The singles of this album are compositions: "Somebody Said A Prayer" (beautiful song), "Back To Tennessee" (song composed by Billy) and "A Good Day". The album also contains such songs as "Real Gone" (created for the movie "Cars"), "Butterfly Fly Away" (a duet with Miley Cyrus for the film "Hannah Montana The Movie") and in my opinion one of the better songs from this album " Like Nothing Else. " This CD has not been added to the list of mentioned website, and in my opinion it should be there. Personally, I think it's the best album ever released by the artist.
3. George Strait - Twang - this is the artist's 26th album released on August 11, 2009. It consists of 13 songs. The singles of this album are: "Living For The Night" (my favorite song from this album), "Twang", "I Gotta Get To You" and "The Breath You Take". This record also did not appear on the The Boot page list, which is a pity because you can hear very nice songs on this CD. I also like the fact that George has not changed his musical style.
4. Keith Urban - Defying Gravity - 6th album of Keith released on March 31, 2009. The album consists of 11 tracks. The singles promoting this album are: "Sweet Thing", "Kiss A Girl", "Only You Can Love Me This Way", "Till Summer Comes Around" and "I'm In". The artist co-composed 8 tracks from this album. Personally, I also like the songs "My Heart Is Open" and "Thank You".
5. Carrie Underwood - Play On - this is the artist's 3rd album released on November 3, 2009. There are 13 songs on this CD, of which 7 have been co-composed by Carrie. CD's promoting singles are: "Cowboy Casanova", "Temporary Home" (beautiful and moving song), "Undo It", "Mama's Song". In my opinion, it is worth paying attention to such compositions as: "Look At Me" (in the back you can hear the voice of the excellent musician Vince Gill) and "Unapologize"
6. Brooks & Dunn - # 1's ... And Then Some - this is the last album containing songs No. 1 of this duo released on September 8, 2009. The album is divided into 2 CDs where there are 15 tracks on each (together the album contains 30 songs). It's a collection of the best compositions recorded by the mentioned duo (Kix Brooks & Ronnie Dunn) in the years 1991 - 2009. The album contains 2 previously unreleased songs, which are also singles promoting: "Indian Summer" and "Honky Tonk Stomp" (with Billy Gibbons). I think that this album is great because it allows you to get to know the work of this duo.
7. Luke Bryan - Doin 'My Thing - this is Luke's 2nd album released on October 6, 2009. It consists of 11 tracks, 8 of which were co-composed by the artist. The singles are compositions "Do I" (co-composed by members of the band Lady Antebellum - Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood), "Rain Is A Good Thing", "Someone Else Calling You Baby". The album also contains a cover of the song "Apologize" by OneRepublic.
8. Reba McEntire - Keep On Loving You - 25th artist's album released on August 18, 2009. The album consists of 13 tracks. The CD's promoting singles are: "Stranger", "Consider Me Gone", "I Keep On Loving You". Personally, I love the songs "I Want A Cowboy", "But Why", "Pink Guitar" and "Over You".
9. Rascal Flatts - Unstoppable - this is the band's 6th album released on 7 April 2009. The CD consists of 11 songs. Promotional singles are: "Here Comes Goodbye" (in my opinion a moving composition), "Summer Nights", "Why" and "Unstoppable" (the best song on the album). It is worth paying attention to such songs as: "Close", "Forever" and "Once".
10. Chris Young - The Man I Want To Be - 2 album artist released on 1 September 2009. The album consists of 11 songs. Promotional singles are: "Voices", "Gettin 'You Home", "The Man I Want To Be". Personally, I like the songs: "That Makes Me," The Dashboard "," The Shoebox. "I like Chris's voice very much, because it reminds me of artists from the 80s-90s.
In 2009 it was released many albums, but I chose the ones that personally love (and I reduced my list so much 😆) and I hope someone will like some album / artist listed here.
