"This One's For You Too" - album by Luke Combs (My Review) [English Version]

Hey 😉

This week I passed 1 exam and I get a good grade 😁. One more exam and I will have a few days off. I will have time to continue writing my master's thesis 😏.
As you know, I listen mainly to artists who have been in the Country music industry for over a dozen years and are highly appreciated by fans. I am reluctant to pay attention to new artists, because somehow I have no belief in the style of music that is currently being presented. However, today I want to devote the post to the singer, who actually debuted in 2018 and was captivated by his voice. I discovered it quite recently and I can not stop listening to his album 😊.

"This One's For You Too" - studio album of Luke Combs released on June 1, 2018. This is the extended version of the album "This One's For You", which appeared on June 2, 2017. The basic version has 12 tracks, while in the deluxe version there are 17 compositions. It is also worth adding that the artist co-composed all the songs that can be heard on the album.

The album consists of compositions such as:

 1. Out There - I like the intro to this song and the music arrangement, especially the sound of guitars. It is a very energetic song. The words are very catchy.

 2. Memories Are Made Of - I think this is one of the best songs from this album. The introduction to the song is also interesting. I like when the composition has a message like this one. People don't pay attention to the fact that various events in life create memories only after some time we like to come back to memories.

3. Lonely One - a very nice musical arrangement. I like the way to convey the feelings associated with breaking up with a loved one from the perspective of a another person. This is another song that is worth listening to.

 4. Beer Can - this is the song I least like. I can assume that the composition was created for fun because I don't feel any message. However, the musical arrangement is good.

5. Hurricane - this is 1 single promoting the album. I really like this track, especially the musical arrangement, where you can hear 2 music styles: electronic beat and country from the 90s. Words are very catchy in the chorus.

 6. One Number Away - is the 3rd single promoting the album. A beautiful and touching song about a man who wants to call his ex-girlfriend on the one hand and knows that he has to move on on the other hand. It is also worth paying attention to the great music video for this composition.

 7. Do not Tempt Me - a very nice musical arrangement. The song is very energetic, which I like. It reminds me more of a rock song than a country song.

 8. When It Rains It Pours - this is the 2nd single promoting the CD. A little ironic song, but ear-catching. You can hear the cool sound of electric guitars here.

 9. This One's For You - another great composition with a great musical arrangement. The tempo of the song changes from calm to more energetic. The artist's voice is very touching.

 10. Be Careful What You Wish For - I really like this composition, which conveys the message that life isn't always likewe planned. The song is very energetic.

 11. I Got Away With You - a song made in a calm way. You can hear the great guitar sound here. The tempo for most of the song is kept in the same rhythm only at a certain moment accelerates and finally calms down.

 12. Honky Tonk Highway - the most reminds me of Country songs from old times. It's very energetic and you can hear the instruments used in this genre.

 13. Houston, We Got A Problem * - very nice song with an interesting musical arrangement. This composition "tells" that you can be in a nice place, but still miss your home and your loved one.

 14. Must've Never Met You * - you can hear an interesting musical arrangement here. For me it's a rock song. It is a song about unrequited love.

 15. Beautiful Crazy * - this is the 5th and last single promoting this album. I like the calm musical arrangement here. The composition definitely belongs to love songs.

 16. A Long Way * - the style of music in this song reminds me of Country. The theme of this song is that sometimes events in our lives last much longer than we expected.

 17. She Got The Best Of Me * - this is the 4th single promoting the CD. The tempo in this composition is very changeable. You can consider this song as a love ballad. I like the musical arrangement used here.

 * Tracks available only in the deluxe version.

In conclusion, I think this is a very good album released by the artist with an interesting timbre of voice. You can hear several songs in the style of Country and Rock. Although at first it may seem that the musical arrangements used in this album are similar, the re-listening of the CD notices differences in them.

 I rate this album 4/5.

I encourage you to listen to this album because it's really worth it 😃.
