"Born Here Live Here Die Here" - Luke Bryan's new album is out!! (Review) [English Version]
Hey 😉
In this post I will write about Luke Bryan's latest album "Born Here, Live Here, Die Here", which was released on August 7, 2020. It is the artist's 7th studio album.
1. Knockin' Boots - this is the first single promoting this album. A typical song for a party, but I honestly don't like it.
2. What She Wants Tonight - second single promoting the album. I like the energetic music arrangement and catchy lyrics. I could listen to it all the time.
3. Born Here Live Here Die Here - I like the musical arrangement you can hear here, but the way Luke sings at first seems a bit boring. It's a bit nostalgic, with the narrator praising life in his hometown.
4. One Margarita - third single promoting the album. From the beginning of the song the musical arrangement "tells us" that it is a perfect composition for a party. The lyrics are catchy and you can listen to it all the time (at least I can 😁). I also like the musical instruments used here.
5. Too Drunk To Drive - cool energetic intro and the whole musical arrangement of the song. The lyrics are catchy, which makes the song not boring.
6. Build Me A Daddy - I like this song very much, which shows that Luke Bryan is very good at both energetic and calm compositions.
7. Little Less Broken - I like the intro of the track. No doubt it's a song about a failed relationship.
8. For A Boat - another quiet song with a nice musical arrangement.
9. Where Are We Goin' - I like the musical arrangement you can hear in the song. It's a love song.
10. Down To One - an interesting musical arrangement and words are catchy. Another song about falling in love.
Luke Bryan's latest album "What Makes You Country" (2017) I didn't quite like it, so I didn't expect much from "Born Here Live Here Die Here" but I was wrong. Although I don't like the first track "Knockin' Boots" very much, the rest of the songs are worth listening to. I like the fact that the artist put on the album not only energetic songs, but also the quiet ones. Because it's in such compositions that Luke shows how great his voice is. It is worth adding that the singer is a co-author of 3 songs that can be heard on this album.
I rate this album at 5/5.
