Top Country Albums Of The Decade (My Opinion) [English Version]

 We already have 2020 😀. I should write this post last year, but only today I decided to write about Country albums released in the last decade. I will present to you the albums that I think are the best 😊. It was hard for me to choose one particular album, because during these 10 years really great albums appeared in Country. You can also notice that the music style of this genre has changed a lot because the artists started using different technologies which sometimes gives a nice effect and sometimes you can see that they have gone too far from Country. Here is my list of the best albums from the past decade: 

2019: Honky Tonk Time Machine - George Strait - I chose this album because the artist remained true to the music style of the "former" Country, and now it is rare. It is worth paying attention to the songs: "God And Country Music", "Código" and "The Weight Of The Badge".

2018: Cry Pretty - Carrie Underwood - I think this album is the best because the artist mixed nostalgic songs with songs that are perfect for parties. This combination makes the disc not boring. I recommend listening to the compositions: "Cry Pretty", "Southbound", "Love Wins" and "The Champion".

2017: Sing It Now: Songs Of Faith & Hope - Reba McEntire - the singer combined two musical genres - Country and Gospel (church music) which gave an amazing effect. Although I personally don't like Gospel music but I like listening to these songs performed by Reba McEntire. I encourage you to listen to the songs: "Back To God", "God And My Girlfriends" and "How Great Thou Art".

2016: Tattooed Heart - Ronnie Dunn - despite the fact that the album contains mainly energetic songs, the artist makes it not boring thanks to his voice and the musical arrangements used. It is worth paying attention to the songs: "Ain't No Trucks In Texas", "Damn Drunk", "Tattooed Heart".

2015: Cold Beer Conversation - George Strait - I chose the artist's album for the second time, because as I wrote earlier as one of the few, he still creates "real" Country. The compositions on this album confirm this. I encourage you to listen to: "It Was Love", "Let It Go", "Take Me To Texas".

2014: Gravity - Big & Rich - honestly this is the only album of this duo that I like. You can hear cool musical arrangements of the songs here. Listen to the songs: "Look At You", "Lovin 'Lately", "Don't Wake Me Up" and "Thank God For Pain".

2013: Two Lanes Of Freedom - Tim McGraw - on this album you can hear compositions that differ in musical arrangement. I also like the fact that the songs "present" different stories, thanks to which the album is not monotonous. I recommend listening to: "Highway Don't Care", "Southern Girl", "Book Of John" and "Truck Yeah".

2012: Change My Mind - Billy Ray Cyrus - I chose this album because when I listened to it for the first time I was surprised by the musical style the artist presented here. The posted songs are very different from the earlier ones that Billy Ray sang and I liked it. I encourage you to listen to the songs: "Change My Mind", "Hillbilly Heart" and "Hope Is Just Ahead".

 

2011: Own The Night - Lady Antebellum - you can hear here compositions with various musical arrangements. The advantage of this trio is that in their albums they change as the main vocalists so you can know how talented they are. Listen to the songs: "Just A Kiss", "Wanted You More" and "Dancin 'Away With My Heart".

 

2010: Get Off On The Pain - Gary Allan - despite the fact that nostalgic songs prevail on this album, the vocalist's voice and changeable musical arrangements make the album not boring. I recommend listening to the compositions: "Today", "We Fly By Night", "I Think I've Had Enough".
