"Late Nights And Longnecks" - album of Justin Moore (My Review) [English Version]

Hey 😉

Justin Moore began his career in 2009 with the debut self - titled album, which received platinum status. His next albums: "Outlaws Like Me" (2011), "Off The Beaten Path" (2013), "Kinda Don't Care" (2016) reached No. 1 in American music rankings.

The artist on June 26, 2019 released his 5th album "Late Nights And Longnecks".

The album consists of 10 songs:

1. Why We Drink - an energetic composition that I think is perfect for parties. Words are very catchy.

2. That's My Boy - another energetic song that the artist co-composed for his son. I like the fast tempo of the song and the sound of guitars you can hear here.

3. The Ones That Didn't Make It Back Home - this is 1 single promoting this album. A beautiful composition dedicated to all people who save people. In my opinion it is a song that after hearing for the first time you want to listen all the time.

4. Jesus And Jack Daniels - this is another single promoting this album. I like the musical arrangement (especially the intro) and the lyrics.

5. Airport Bar - a song with a nice musical arrangement. Some verses of the song indicate that there is a love composition.

6. Small Town Street Cred - I like the beginning of the song with the guitar sound. Another energetic song that you can play at some party.

7. Never Gonna Drink Again - a composition similar to the previous one in terms of musical arrangement. It can be said that it is a bit ironic song.

8. On The Rocks - I like the intro of the composition. This is a song with a variable tempo of musical arrangement. I would say it is a song about the heavy relationship between the "narrator" and his girlfriend.

9. Someday I Gotta Quit - you can hear here an interesting and a bit unusual musical arrangement. You can hear the sound of electric guitars again.

10. Good Times Don't - in my opinion this is one of the best songs on this album. I like the message that good times do not change, although there have been various changes in the daily lives of people.

I honestly write that this is the first Justin Moore album I have ever listened to. I came across an artist by accident on YT and when I heard "The Ones That Didn't Make It Back Home" I decided to listen to his latest album and I was not disappointed 😀. I found songs that I liked very much (especially those with guitars). However, for someone who prefers calm compositions can be bored with this album because the energetic songs prevail on this CD.

I rate this album 4.5/5
