"Wild Blue Part I" - brand new album of Hunter Hayes (My Review) [English Version]

Hunter Hayes is a young talented multi-instrumentalist and composer. The artist began his musical career in 2011 with the debut self - titled album, which achieved platinum status. His most famous songs include: "Storm Warning", "Wanted", "Somebody's Heartbreak" from the first album and "Invisible", "Tattoo" from the album "Storyline" (2014). 

On August 16, 2019 Hunter released his 4th studio album "Wild Blue - Part I"

 The album consists of 10 songs:

1. Madness - I like the song's intro. The musical arrangement is definitely not Country, more like Pop style.

2. Wild blue - in my opinion this is one of the best compositions on this album. I like the musical arrangement and the lyrics. One can say that despite energetic music one can feel sadness in the artist's voice.

3. Heartbreak - this is a song about finding the right person. Another song that has little to do with Country. However, I must admit that it is nice to listen to it.

 

 

4. One Good Reason - a calm composition with great musical arrangement. Words are catchy.

 

 

 5. Dear God - I think it's another great song that I really enjoy listening to. I like the intro and the lyrics. It is worth paying attention to the acoustic version of this composition, which in my opinion is more moving.

 

 

 

6. Loving You - the song is very moving. In the voice of the artist who survived the breakup with his girlfriend, he can hear that he approaches it personally.

 

  

7. My Song Too - another sad song about breaking up. I like the musical arrangement.

 

 

8. One Shot - an energetic song with a nice musical arrangement. An interesting change from previous compositions.

 

 

 9. Night And Day - I like the song's intro. The words are catchy and you can hear the cool sound of the musical instruments used.

 

 

 10. Still - a beautiful composition with a calm musical arrangement and great text. Hunter's voice in this song is very moving. Personally, I think it's another great song you can hear on this album.

The album "Wild Blue" shows how talented musician Hunter Hayes is, who co-composed all the songs on this album. Although some songs are not "typical" country, I think it's a great album. Although sad songs about breaking up and unsuccessful love prevail, I think it's worth listening to.
